Volvo is attempting to redefine its own interpretation of "Scandinavian luxury” with the introduction of the all-new S80 sedan. “All new” is a term used by many manufacturers in order to generate interest in a passé model. However, in this case, the term is valid, since the new S80 and the previous generation share nothing except their name.
True, the cars look similar, but the new S80 is more aerodynamic (but still in the Volvo mode), rides on a wheelbase that’s nearly two inches longer, yet is about the same overall length, and has a host of innovative features to have even the most dedicated techno-groupie wetting his (or her) lips.
The S80 comes with a choice of two engines – a 4.4-liter V8 and a 3.2-liter I6. These replace the I5 that was offered previously.
Cramming an inline six transversely into the space previously occupied by a five could have been an impossible task. But Volvo’s six is only three millimeters longer than the five and, therefore, fits well. Read more.
Lexus owns the high ground in the luxury sedan segment, with the perennially best-selling LS 430 setting the standard for comfort, resale value and quality. Even so, the new 2007 LS 460L, Lexus' response to Mercedes' new S-Class, pioneers new frontiers of luxury, comfort and safety.
The car is available in a limousine-like long-wheelbase model, which stretches nearly 203 inches from bumper to bumper, and a 5-inch-shorter standard model, the LS 460 (minus the L). A faster, more efficient hybrid version, possibly with all-wheel drive, will debut at the New York International Auto Show in April. Lexus promises further details on the car's technology at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show in March. One of the highlights is that the car can parallel park itself.
Exterior
Each new Lexus becomes incrementally more sculpted, with market pressure by more adventurous competitors eroding the company's traditionally stodgy lines like the Colorado River carving out the Grand Canyon over the course of millions of years. The latest LS features an aerodynamically laid-back grille, headlights and windshield at the front, and the hint of a BMW trunk at the rear.
Interior
In the long-wheelbase variant, Lexus aims to replicate the environment of a business jet with massaging, 45-degree-reclining rear seats that include an ottoman for leg support. A center console with a tray table, ventilation controls and a drink cooler divides the two rear seats. Individual DVD players mean never having to share a movie with your fellow backseat passenger. The shorter-wheelbase LS 460 has a three-passenger backseat in place of the console and buckets.

Toshiharu Imanishi, managing director of Perodua Auto Corp. and Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, managing director of Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua with the new Perodua Myvi Special Edition at its launch.
Myvi SE Exterior
Yessiree, this is one pimped-up ride, at least where the externals are concerned - to say that the SE version comes with plenty of sporty-looking accoutrements would be understating it. Lessee, there’s a new front and rear bumper, side skirts, rear spoiler, chrome muffler tip, newly-designed fog lamps and fresh alloy wheels.
The rest of the car is essentially unchanged, save for some revisions to the interior, the most notable of which are the leather seats and new blue coloured lighting for the meter graphics. Elsewhere, you get new silver paint for the centre and meter cluster as well as the armrest panel
Myvi SE Interior
It’s obvious that Perodua is targeting a younger crowd of buyers with the Myvi SE, and the colours reflect that - three prominent tones are available, these being Ebony black, Mistik red and Ivory white.
Modena – 20th February 2007. The new Maserati GranTurismo, styled by Pininfarina, makes its worldwide debut at the Geneva Motorshow.
The Maserati GranTurismo is a muscular and sporty car, that can be enjoyed every day and a the same time is engaging for the driver. Its excellent handling and sportiveness makes it a point of reference in its category. The Maserati GranTurismo is built with particular attention to comfort, choice of materials and details and with enough room for four people, as only Maserati can do.
The new Maserati GranTurismo is a high-performance sports car, exciting to drive with a 4.2 liter V8 engine, delivering 405 HP, and a weight distribution of 49% at the front and 51% at the rear. It is fitted with an automatic gearbox and equipped with an adaptive control system which adjusts the gear-shifting mode to the driving style and the driving conditions.
Maserati's tradition of the Gran Turismo concept dates back to 1947 when the Trident Company, following its clients' demand, unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show its first Gran Turismo. It was designed by the great Pinin Farina, and based on the racing chassis of the A6. It was the first Maserati road car and was produced in 58 units. The car was acclaimed by the automotive press for its advanced technical content and for its avant-garde style solutions.
The new model name – Maserati GranTurismo – is not incidental. Once again, the partnership between Maserati and Pininfarina gives birth to a car that is able to generate emotions and sets itself apart from competitors, due to the technique with which it is built and its unique style.
The new Maserati GranTurismo represents a further step towards the completion of the Trident product range, following the worldwide launch of the Quattroporte Automatic at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

For the 2007 model year, the S600 is powered by a V12 engine with more than 500 hp. The 382-hp S500 is powered by the first of a new-generation V8 engine family featuring increased displacement, four-valve-per-cylinder technology, variable valve timing and a lightweight crank assembly. Both horsepower and torque are up considerably, yet with lower exhaust emissions and noise.
The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV (properly known as an SAV-a Sports Activity Vehicle) sold by BMW since 2000. It is based on the E39 5 Series and features all wheel drive and a line of straight-6 and V8 engines. For non-US models there is a 3.0 L diesel engine.
The history of the X5 begins in the late 1990s, when Chris Bangle drew the first sketches from his Designworks studio in California. In many ways, the current car closely resembles these initial sketches.
The all-new Corolla is designed to appeal to customers seeking both a classic sedan configuration and striking, dynamic styling. The rumors tell that the car will use some form of Nissan V6 in the VQ family. It will be based off the same award-winning VQ35DE powerplant that is used in practically every Nissan in production. It won’t be the 3.5L naturally aspirated mill that we’ve seen in the 350Z and G35. It will use a larger displacement 3.7-4.0L version of the same engine mated to a twin-turbo setup. Tuning and engineering has been done by the racing experts at Cosworth. The car will have at least 400 hp and up to 500. No torque figures have been announced.
The Subaru Impreza WRX STI (formerly STi, officially changed in 2006)[1] is the highest standard-edition trim in the Subaru Impreza compact car line, produced by Japanese automaker Subaru.
In the late 1980's, Subaru created the Subaru Tecnica International (STI) division to coordinate development for the FIA World Rally Championship and other motorsports activities. After the company had grown, the division was used to create high-performance consumer versions of the Subaru Impreza WRX, a four-wheel drive car with a turbocharged flat-4 engine, leading to the development of the Impreza WRX STi. Subaru has used a race-prepared version of the WRX STI as its rally platform since the model trim's creation.
The Volvo C70 is a luxury cabriolet built by Volvo Car Corp. The C70 is available in convertible and (originally) coupé versions with a choice of manual or automatic transmission. In the United States prices for the C70 convertible started at $38,710 for the 2006 model year.
The Proton Satria Neo 1.6 comes in specification levels – the M-Line and the H-Line. Both features 16 inch alloy wheels wrapped with Continental SportContact-1 tyres in 195/50/R16 88V size. The alloy wheels are of the bling bling design – Proton prefers to call this design a turbine design. This turbine design is symmetrical, which means the left and right sides of the car use different designs to ensure the turbine always “spins” forward. I still think they’re horrible, but then again wheels are something that are easily replaced and is one of the first things to be changed on a car. The Proton Satria Neo 1.3 L-Line base model uses 15 inch steel rims with bling bling turbine wheel covers. The tyres provided are Sime Astar Prima 195/55/R15 85V.

As for the 2.4 liter model, power is now 165 horsepower at 6,000rpm, up from the previous range’s 150 horsepower at 5,600rpm. Torque is up from 218Nm between 3,800rpm to 4,200rpm - it’s now 224Nm at 4,000rpm. The 2.4 liter model has a new gearbox, instead of the previous 4-speed Super-ECT, the new 2.4 liter Camry gets a 5-speed automatic gearbox with Sequential Shift. 2 of the gears are overdrive gears, for better fuel economy during highway cruising.
The first generation Honda Stream which has already undergone a mid-life facelift in 2004 was based on the Honda Civic chassis so it’s safe to assume this new Honda Stream is also based on the new 2006 Honda Civic’s excellent chassis. This should make it a good drive. This new Honda Stream will be offered internationally in two specification levels. The lower-end spec will feature the R18A 1.8 liter SOHC i-VTEC engine and a 5-speed automatic gearbox also found in our local Honda Civic 1.8S. The higher-end spec called the Stream RS-Z will feature the R20A 2.0 liter SOHC i-VTEC engine equipped with a CVT transmission instead of a K20A DOHC i-VTEC.
The 2008 Lancer is based on a new performance-engineered global platform that also forms the foundation of the new Mitsubishi Outlander SUV. It has a longer wheelbase and wider track, but slightly shorter overall length than the previous model. All Lancer models are powered by an all-new 2.0-liter 152 hp aluminum DOHC MIVEC 4-cylinder engine (143 hp PZEV in Calif.) teamed to a 5-speed manual transmission. The new Lancer is the first Mitsubishi in North America to offer an optional continuously variable transmission (CVT). When equipped with the CVT, the Lancer GTS exclusively features a 6-step Sportronic(R) mode using magnesium steering wheel paddle shifters.
The 2008 Lancer brings the bold, dynamic lines of the show-stopping Mitsubishi Concept-X to the showroom. First shown in 2005, the stunning Concept X previewed not only the next generation Mitsubishi compact sport sedan, but also a new design language to convey an unmistakable brand identity. A "shark-nosed" front end inspired by jet fighter air intakes, a distinct wedge-like profile and crisp, taut lines highlight the Lancer's exciting new design.
The Enzo Ferrari is a 12-cylinder Ferrari supercar named after the company's founder, Enzo Ferrari. It was built in 2003 using Formula One technology, such as a carbon-fiber body, F1-style sequential shift transmission, and carbon-ceramic brake discs. Also used are technologies not allowed in F1 such as active aerodynamics. After a downforce of 775 kg (1709 lb) is reached at 300 km/h (186 mph) the rear wing is actuated by computer to maintain that downforce.
The Enzo's V12 engine is the first of a new generation for Ferrari. It is based on the architecture of the V8 found in sister-company Maserati's Quattroporte, using the same basic architecture and 104 mm bore spacing. This design will replace the former architectures seen in V12 and V8 engines used in most other contemporary Ferraris. The 2005 F430 is the second Ferrari to get a version of this new powerplant.
In 2004, Sports Car International named the Enzo Ferrari number three on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 2000s.
